The fact that they can do a retake on the occasions when they aren’t gives them an incentive to go back and figure out what they didn’t get rather than just moving on to the next thing. Hard to imagine most of the kids who chronically can’t be bothered in the first place are going to spend the time and energy on lots of retakes.[/quote]
