Some good friends from CA were forced to move because the husband is a doctor and his medical practice shut down due to overly strict COVID measures. They actually love living in FL and he got a salary boost so it all ended well even if they didn't want to move initially. The housing wasn't much less expensive though. FL housing prices skyrocketed and don't seem to be going back down.[/quote]
