All they're going to find out if this was a big frame-up to oust McKnight.
Some parents just couldn't handle an AA woman running the schools. They were out to get her from day 1.
And yet, an AA woman was hired to replace McKnight. Huh.
She is only interim. Wait and watch DCUM, White Bethesda and Potomac Moms' heads explode if they name her the permanent Superintendent.
They can probably just Beidleman on her too. I mean sure it happened mostly under a previous super but that never stopped them before.
They pinned Beidleman's antics on Monifa when this went on before her tenure so wouldn't surprise me if they found a way to blame Felder too.
I think it's important to keep knocking down this lie, just in case new people happen along this thread and don't know what actually happened. Yes, some of the sexual harassment and bullying did span multiple superintendent administrations. However, the big scandal here is not that one man behaved very badly. The scandal is that many credible reports of that bad behavior were ignored, and he was promoted despite all involved knowing about the harassment and bullying. Then, the Washington Post launched an investigation that ultimately revealed that McKnight's office suppressed the original report showing bad behavior, suspended the investigator who had been tasked with putting together that report, lied to the Board of Education about what they knew and when they knew it, and then falsified official documentation when they got caught. All of this happened under McKnight or was done by her directly. That's why we are still talking about this, because there was a wide-ranging conspiracy led by Dr. McKnight to protect one bad actor.
The Beidleman's things for which he was anonymously accused went on before McKnight was super. I think he was only promoted at the beginning of her term. She likely jhust followed the recommendations of the CO.
Is this the sort of gaslighting that goes on every time someone has to deal with the Central Office? For those who might now know, McKnight became acting superintendent in March 2021. She had been Deputy Superintendent since 2019. Beidelman was promoted in June 2023. That's not the beginning of her term - it is well inside her time as superintendent.
The many anonymous complaints and investigations into Beidleman predate McKnight. Also, the CO is supposed to vet people. McKnight signs off on it. Seems like they failed her since previous super had swept all this under the rug.
She knew what was going on. For years.
