As someone said above, lowering admissions requirements and tossing away relevant information about students make the current system a lottery at best. They can have a much more transparent system while incorporating diversity and equity goals. Students should simply have points for each factor like essays, GPA, advanced STEM courses, teachers' recommendations, and bonus points for DEI factors. [/quote]
