Late response, but no.  The reason I know these things is because I'm a team manager and I speak with the coaches within my kid's age regularly.[/quote]

I don't think that's particularly uncommon. Our team manager knew my kid was being promoted between seasons before I did. He definitely has inside intel on what's going on with the age group teams.[/quote]
