Perspective is based on where you sit. TJ is definitely not the most famous. You’ve heard of it because you live in NoVa. I grew up in LA, and moved to DC about 10 years ago. I didn’t hear about TJ until I had children, 7 years ago. However, the only DC school I heard about while living in LA was Sidwell.

If true, I just learned from this post that RBG’s children attended GDS. That’s news to me![/quote]

I read the WaPo and the NYTimes everyday (LA Times when I lived there), and I still never heard of TJ until relatively recently. I can’t name a single famous TJ alum (or any famous TJ parents), but I can name several from Sidwell, STA, Gonzaga, GDS, Prep.
