Our son is a rising senior at an out of state college, dating a senior about to graduate at UMD. We'd like to get her a graduation present, $100-$150. We don't know her well enough to get her a piece of jewelery and our son doesn't want us to get her a gift card. Of course he doesn't have any other ideas. We suggested a nice throw blanket, but he vetoed that too, because she has so many. Anyone have some good ideas? She is taking a year off before going to grad school
How long have they dated? I would feel really uncomfortable if my boyfriend's parents gave me a gift ( unless they are engaged) I think a nice dinner out is a big gift but personally I wouldn't do anything else. You could just give it to your son and girlfriend to go out to dinner Or you could join them ( ask son) That's enough honestly!
