[/quote] You are correct, OP. With those stats, UMD is likely. But, like another poster, I wouldn't call it a safety. But, I don't call anything a safety. It's not accurate, and it sets up a less than appealing association. Normally, I wouldn’t, but UMD admits very much by stats, and your kid has them. The few kids at my kid's mcps magnet that didn't get in, didn't have the tier of stats your kid has. It's good to have a variety of likelies just in case.
