Waco hospital is just over 30 minutes from Falls Community.  
I am wondering why a 9 month pregnant woman would go to a hospital that does not have OB services.  Did she not have any prenatal care and know what hospital she was scheduled to deliver at?  I would never dream of showing up at a hospital with no OB services and expect them to deliver a baby.  [/quote]
The median income for a household in Marlin, TX is $21,443. It’s not hard to imagine that pregnant women there aren’t getting perfect prenatal care. And when your water breaks you go to the nearest hospital so you don’t have to deliver your baby on the shoulder of the road. [/quote]

I guess they could, but it would make a lot more sense for them to just go to the other hospital with an OB ward.

We were turned away from treatment at an emergency room because that hospital couldn't admit a minor (we were there for my kid).  They didn't tell us this when we checked in. Since they turned us away, they arranged for admission to a nearby children's hospital and an ambulance came for us. I know people are [b]having an image of Mary burying the baby Jesus in a barn, [/b]but this isn't a likely scenario. [/quote]
