There probably is a version of this for children.

I own this one. But I use it because I have a ton of very, very thick Asian hair and a larger head. Struggling with a standard swim cap over the years literally gave me a headache and usually they slipped off mid swim[/quote]

Oh, if you do try this, sizing is critical. I had to order a few sizes. If it's super comfortable, it's probably not snug enough to keep water out. And I'm just a recreational swimmer. This isn’t for competitive situations obviously.
