It doesn't but it's certainly the narrative of that song. She is a great songwriter. People can trash her all they want, but she's prolific and so fluent in evoking a certain kind of female experience (that I am sure not *all* females share, but I get it even though I am 40). She's also great at using simple language to convey complex emotions, again, to that particular group. I can see how it would not resonate with everyone. [/quote]
