My husband is similar to your bf OP. They make great husbands! I mean this is just a crap thing that happens sometimes. Its chicks before d*cks until you meet the guy who becomes your family and then its your family before anything else. Your friend is either misjudging the situation (ie, doesn't think you'll marry and she can wait this out) or she doesn't understand what it feels like when you're on the other side of this divide. Regardless, this is kind of on her. You should tell her it bothers you, but she's either going to change or she's not. And you're not going to blow up the relationship that you believe is the one over this so either she'll turn it around or your friendship will fade as this drives a wedge that will become impossible to overcome. And to be clear there's not much YOU can do to prevent that. You will resent her if she causes a breakup or if she refuses to let you be open about that part of your life, even if you want to go out of your way to make the friendship better. Lots of people lose friends this way! It sucks, and its why I personally never talk crap about my friend's significant others unless there is some like, REAL big concern.
He doesn't sound like he'll be a great husband at all... did you hear the adjectives she used to describe him? Rude was used more than a few times.
My husband is quiet and friends and family have thought his lack of engagement rude at times. He talks to me! And that's all I need! OP has repeated that she does not think he is rude. People are just uncomfortable with quiet people. There's a lid for every pot though.
