It’s not that way for everyone. Be grateful for your good fortune rather than castigating others for their misfortune. Moreover, when did disability become a requirement for manners? I always thought you should help others who were LESS able in a given situation, not just those who were DISabled. If someone is pregnant, older, has young kids, is carrying a lot, or just looks tired/sick/weak, and I judge that I can stand easier than they can, I give up my seat. Manners should not be something we do when we’re guilted into it, it should be something we do because we have empathy and compassion for others. [/quote]
