[/quote] UVA recommends RD for students that want their senior year grades considered. Many wait and apply RD if their grades have an upward trend during high school. So if your kid had a few lower grades in 9th and 10th, but is doing really well in 11th you want the schools to see another semester of high grades. RD allows the college to consider your 12th grade 1st semester grades. This is what our CCO recommended for our DC. [/quote]
