OP - I have similar skin to you, also 40’s, but I use tretinoin, not retin-A. I have tried most suggestion in this thread; the best were either the Kiehls ultra face moisturizer or tatcha dewy skin cream. Both were okay, but not holy grail. Recently I started using a Korean moisturizer - Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier intensive cream - and it’s amazing (and I think under $20). It’s lighter weight than the other 2 I had been using but it somehow keeps my skin more moisturized - like glowy. I use with toner and serum. I can’t really use vit C bc it irritates my skin/causes redness. Highly recommend![/quote]

DP. RetinA is a brand name for tretinoin. It's the same thing - like Tylenol and acetaminophen.

I get my Korean/Japanese beauty products from Stylevana.com.  I know other people who use Yes Style.  They're legitimate sites and I've gotten great products from them at less cost than Amazon.
