My 1st grader's NWEA score didn't change from the beginning of the year. It was high at the beginning of the year. Should I read the lack of change as an indication that she didn't learn any math in the first half of the school year?
DP. Does anyone know the answer to this question? I'm in a similar spot and wondering how to address this at the next PTC.
From what I understand the RIT score is supposed to be an overall measure that is comparable year to year. If it didn't change your kid answered about the same number of questions of the same difficulty, so no, they probably didn't learn much. If you look at the math standards for 1st grade, that makes sense. They are incredibly basic.
