Um, not always.  Boy, the super ignorant are out in force today, huh?  There are ample organic farms and local farms from which you can get produce that is not bathed in chemicals. The stuff they spray on organic and mosquito squad is :

Pyrethrins. Pyrethrins is an organic pesticide, made from chrysanthemums, which causes a speedy death to garden pests. It comes in a powder form that needs to be dusted on the leaves of plants. It has some, although low toxicity to humans and pets. This pesticide should only be used as a last resort, when other compounds have not worked.

I would get your kids and you tested for Pyrethrin allergy before spraying. It's common and can be quite bad.[/quote]
