UChicago needs a big asterisk next to it. Although they aren't transparent about the data (wonder why??) it is known they take nearly their entire class ED1 ED2 ED3 (waitlist). Their RD acceptance rate by design is less than 1%. These tactics give the appearance that the school is more selective and desirable than it truly is. Would love to know the yield of their RD admits (non waitlist) That would be more telling[/quote]
