Yes, and also look at all the new young talent in the USWNT, specifially this selection, the following players did not go to college or left early to go pro, I might miss one:

Horan (not young but first notable player to forgo college to go pro)
Shaw
Rodman
Smith
Moultrie
Albert
Fishel
Swanson
Thompson

Hahaha not over 12 years, the list is just the current Gold Cup roster for right now Feb. 2024. You could say for this microcycle and likely growing, with the likes of Barcenas, other Thompson, Macario, Sentor, Fuller, and 6 other NWSL pros I'm forgetting in the current U-20 roster all ready to fight for spots too. There are far more even out plying their trade to this day in Europe and now in Mexico too[/quote]
