Jordan Peterson explains that men are on a larger spectrum of intelligence and behavior and women are more in the middle. Men are less regulated and have a wider range of behaviors so they are going to have more issues as a result of these changes between themselves and other men.
He is awesome.
Okay. I’m a psychiatrist. I am familiar with psychoanalysis and object relations theory, and I have read Otto Kernberg and Melanie Klein. I cannot follow this. Can you give an example of what this means? What does it mean to have a WIDER range of behaviors? Wouldn’t this vary more between social class and culture than between genders? What is an “issue?” That sounds like something my teenager might say that might mean anything. And why is it the result of “changes between themselves and other men?” And does this mean that men argue more than women and have more “issues?”
