LSA Michigan. Expecting to take a "Business Minor" (Ross) w Econ major along w CS/Data Science classes. Admission to Ross is NOT necessary at this stage (at least as we understand it - Happy to be corrected).

PP.  Where does your daughter want to live/work after graduation?

I am a Ross MBA grad.  If your daughter wants to live/work in California, definitely go Berkeley. Just because it's local to Silicon Valley.  Chicago or East Coast, go Michigan.

I like your daughter's combo of Michigan major/minors BUT I wonder if she can go deep enough into the secondary areas of focus to develop applied skills in them.  If just going to the route of seeking a high-paying consulting or Wall Street new grad job that won't matter. However, it might be worth sitting down with course catalog lists and mapping out in detail exactly how her course schedule would look by year.[/quote]

My married niece and nephew both attended Ross and are currently living in SF doing very well.  That Michigan degree is recognized all over the country.  [/quote]
