Definitely. Some people want to be marketable immediately after college, start paying off student debt if they have any, or just be secure as PP stated and have time (and money!) to enjoy hobbies. Also, if they find accounting “boring” they can always branch off into other financial/business areas after a few years experience. Accounting is the backbone of businesses so it’s easier to move into other areas after some experience. [/quote]
