Because people don’t want to be wrong.  He was mildly compromised when he was elected in 2020.  Any unbiased person who has followed politics (and therefore Biden’s career) for any length of time could tell he was not the man he had been.  But the loyal followers refused to acknowledge it at all.  They wouldn’t say “Biden may be feeling his age but he is still better than Trump.” Instead they said “it’s a stutter!!!” or “he is 100% and the most sharp and vigorous man in history.”  They lied to themselves, their families, the press, to everyone.  They lied!!  And some dumb dumbs who don’t follow politics believed them.  Well now the dumb dumbs refuse to be snookered anymore.  But none of them will admit in public that they are the liars or that they were the lied to.  People don’t like to look foolish.  It is truly the emperors new clothes on display.  My children can tell Biden is diminished and just like in the fable, the kids don’t know they are supposed to lie.  And in polls people don’t lie.  [/quote]
