I didn't want my child using an education system that was developed for mentally retarded children. Once you know that piece all their teachings makes sense. That's why everything should be put exactly back in it's place, that's why they emphasize certain life skills, that's why they seem like they don't interact--keeping focused at the task at hand, etc. I'm sure most kids can handle it and adjust later, but were were creeped out by the kids basically walking past each other in a world of their own and not really interacting with each other.[/quote]
