[/quote] I taught at a private school in the early 2000's, and we had middle schoolers whose daily outfits cost more than that (one of our substitute teachers was a part-time buyer for Saks, and add up the value of the outfit was an entertaining game on days she worked). And yes, we thought it was crazy, but people's definition of normal varies widely.[/quote]
