Meteorologically, this is a nightmare scenario to predict. Ground temps are above freezing, but there's supposed to be a band of intense snowfall that crosses the region somewhere tomorrow morning. Except no one knows where it will be. Under that intense snowfall, accumulation will stick on the roads and make everything super slick since the roads cannot be treated because of the rain tonight. When roads aren't treated, even a light coating of snow will lead to accidents. But outside of that band of snow, it will be normal wet roads. There's no win-win here. It's gambling, and FCPS has chosen not to risk accidents. [/quote]
