My ILs moved near their kids, in a single level, wheelchair accessible house in a 55+ neighborhood, when they were in their healthy 60s. It was so smart! They have had time to make friends in a place where they can potentially stay a long time, even though they didn't need those amenities when they moved. [/quote]
