Back then business people knew how to sacrifice for their country. The government needs to do more with less like any business can and does.  Government Unions are full of weak, lazy people that cannot adapt to hard times.[/quote]

This is beyond outrageous.  I think you miss the upside of being a business owner.  I look at my mom, a teacher who is a really lazy get to work at 5 am government worker who belongs to a union.  She makes a FRACTION of what I make, but in the long run, sacrificed for the pension.  She lives pretty comfortably now, but did not make much over the years.  I understand that my upside is SO much higher.  My HHI is about $540K, my parents' HHI is about $100K.

I have the opportunity to lose money, but also to make a lot of money.  She always made less for the stability.  That's not lazy.  That was a choice.  She never had the ability to make as much as me.  I am willing to take the RISK to make more.[/quote]
