It’s common sense. [/quote] Sure, but the type of exercise somebody needing to lose 20 pounds is usually capable of even doing is a rounding error compared to rebalancing their energy intake. OP isn’t going to run for an hour at 7/mile or get on a bike for three hours averaging 200 watts. What exercise can do is help remold body composition and encourage healthy eating habits so you don’t feel like trash and can meet your exercise goals. [/quote]
