Merit aid from 8 of them totaling $200,000, roughly $24 per school. Range from $17K to $32K or about 30-60% of tuition. Not bragging. DC worked their ass off while facing major challenges. Decided on their own to apply EA to all that offered it. DC figured Michigan was an extreme reach as OOS and test-optional. Honestly, they applied because lots of close and extended family members have masters degrees from U-M and have talked about it for DC's entire life. I am vicariously happy for those who get in.
