Think about the aspects of your life you found yourself visiting during cancer treatment, during the worst of it when you really weren't sure you would make it. Now imagine you had the memory of your own mother saying "I hate you" and counting the days until you would be out of her home for good.

We say things that we don’t really mean in the heat of the moment. Or  we do mean it - but only in the moment. Apologize, be accountable, and move on. She says horrible things to you all the time and you know she doesn’t mean it. Come on people, enough with the piling on and the guilt. [/quote]
