Our experience has been women sporting micro-bikini's and the like are more often lifestyles looking to attract other likeminded people. We have found some of these people are attention seekers, and enjoy to parade around in skimpy or sheer swimwear. I don't think wearing such swimwear has anything to do with being sex positive. My husband and I are nudists, and live a fulfilling sex life. We have found that women wearing skimpy swimwear often have confidence issues, and they feel empowered when wearing these outfits. We've seen women such as these at lifestyle events wearing skimpy lingerie outfits for much the same reason. Again, my husband and I would often be naked at these lifestyle events whereas many of these women are seeking wearing some sort of skimpy attire as they don't have the confidence to be seen naked. OP here. This is an interesting perspective! The idea that wearing revealing clothing is a way to hide insecurities. Never thought of it that way. [/quote]
