It gets boring when a series wins year after year. I’d rather see Best New Series win than Breaking Bad, succession, etc. [/quote] The only saving grace is that television production has shifted, and instead of releasing a new season every year like clockwork, you get a new season every 2-3 years. That way there are lulls from the shows that dominate the award cycles. HBOs fatal error this year was airing Succession, White Lotus, and Last of Us all in the same eligibility window. [/quote]
