How this a question? I mean, literally. He said something to you in private. Why are you asking other people to tell you whether it's offensive? Did it offend you?

There's nothing wrong with the OP asking for a gut check. It is a strange and not particularly funny comment.

I take it as an attempt at banter and a compliment, and more along the lines of implying Middle Eastern culture is backwards than OP being a prostitute. [/quote]
