Agree it's not ideal with produce and substitutions, but in post-pandemic ordering I have found there are fewer subs, more available time slots, and people and maybe instructions are just getting better at picking good items. It would be more of a problem if you needed a ripe avocado or something.

The one thing that I think is probably true is that it keeps you to your list. I am super bad at going off-list. When I visited my parents I got a whole meal's worth of food plus some fruit and the total was far less than I expected even with the $10 fee and $10 tip. And it was Whole Foods, where I never shop![/quote]
