I know NYU and Georgetown kids who make 30k a summer as interns, which can offset a chunk of this. Is that true for Kelley, etc?[/quote]

This might seem like an exception reserved for those with powerful networks. My DC is at Wharton and never did make anything close to that and most of who she made went towards temp accommodation in NYC.[/quote]
