Not in public safety stuff. But she's also not on the public safety committee. She got involved in the drone program because the police wanted to put it in her district first.

I had made the same assumption too. And knew a little about how policing had changed in Takoma Park (not for the better IMO) post George Floyd.  But Takoma Park is a tiny, tiny little area and Montgomery County is huge and diverse and has some intractable crime problems in some places.  And so far, she seems to get that. [/quote]
