I’m divorced and ready to hit the dating market. I am 46, I am not a bad looking guy, but I am extremely skinny 6’0 and 140 lbs. I lift weight regularly, very athletic (former fencer). I got married very young at 21 to my high school sweetheart and she is the only women I have ever been with. So I have never had to really worry about how I look but now that I am single and looking I am insecure about this. Yes I know as a man I should be confident etc but I am also a human conscious of my own insecurities. So how do you ladies feel about tall and skinny but otherwise good looking guy?
OP - eat an extra 300-500 calories per day and have a trainer set up a lifting plan for you. You can put on 20+ lbs of muscle in a year. You’d be surprised how much women like a who’s got muscles (assuming he’s not a dbag, of course). And, even if he is a dbag they’ll often still sleep with him while lamenting what a dbag he is! Lol.
Not PP but have similar build. I lift weights 5 days/wk. I tried upping my calories like you say, and all that happened was I grew a big gut. So maybe it's not so easy. I would love to add 15 lb of muscle but if my choice is skinny and trim vs. skinny and gut, I'm sticking with skinny and trim.
