I don't understand anyone who thinks an alumni interview is "meaningless". AO's at highly rejective schools look for all kinds of low-hanging fruit reasons to reject an applicant...since alumni interviewers tend to skew positive in their reports, if a kid gets the lowest score from an interviewer that never gives the lowest score, then that is an easy reject. Ultra positive may mean the difference if it literally came down to two applicants, but an ultra positive will not have nearly the same positive impact as a very negative.[/quote]
