Or had "hooks", like child of a board member at Lowell and that helped get them off the waitlist or what have you. Some were just lucky and they fit the Big 3 school's priorities that year. It is not a sure thing even for their best students. If you want a Big 3 get in earlier than 9th.[/quote]
