Older homes had gables or different roof lines; new builds are effectively the same cube with a different facade slapped on, the interior of the modern farmhouse is pretty much the same layout as the previous generation, so I would assume whatever comes next (modern Tudor? Modern box?) will change the finishes and the decorative “rooflines” they slap on, but basically be the same[/quote]
