In 2019 at approximately 3 pm on a weekday, I was parked at the orthodontist office in those townhouse-type office buildings on River Road (near the Container Store).  I was taking my daughter to the orthodontist.  A young man smashed the windows of our vehicle and ran off with my purse.  He purchased many Metro fare cards on my American Express card.

Why do our mayors tolerate loitering that reduces the quality of life of all stakeholders (including the mentally ill).  The homelessness and loitering problem is too much to deal with.  I would have liked to live in Tenleytown, but am honestly glad to be in Bethesda (walking distance from Tenleytown).  It feels so much safer, even though it's just 1 mile away.[/quote]
