Except it's the wealthy white privileged Miranda supporters who are the ones crowing about learning loss, upset that they had to shell out a few of their own bucks for a tutor that they can totally afford. Watch them grab all the resources for their own kids when APS offers tutors. Just watch. This group just likes to use the brown poor kids as talking points to get what they want for their own privileged kids.

Think i'm wrong? Then try suggesting that only kids of a certain income level or in certain demographic groups (sped, minority, T1 etc) get the tutors, and watch the APE Miranda supporters go berserk! It's the same thing that happened during Covid. They resisted efforts to open up schools first to the most needy because that upset their narrative of using the most needy kids as a reason to get what they wanted for THEIR kids.

They showed us who they are. They are all about their OWN kids. I won't forget. [/quote]
