I wouldn’t want my office to be in a detached building. I don’t want to walk to it in the rain or cold, and I just like being closer to other stuff in my house. I’d rather have a 300 sq feet addition to my home.  It would need a full bath to be a rental. That’s why I asked what OP would do with the tiny house. It doesn’t seem very useful. [/quote]

No, I don’t. I don’t want to put on a coat or carry an umbrella to walk to my home office. I often need things from the rest of my house so that would get annoying. [/quote]
