[/quote] "Make it work" isn't that easy with a dog who's aggressive with other dogs. I think OP can see if it might work - but it's not fair to her, or her dog, to make them accommodate a dog who, should he get loose, should there be one accident, one leaving the door open when you didn't mean to, could really hurt her dog. You guys are doing your best. I hope you know that. There isn't one answer here - and rescues and shelters not calling back doesn't mean this dog is unadoptable. It means that shelters and rescues are at their breaking points right now - and few have a foster home, or spare kennel, for a dog who isn't good with other animals. If you choose behavioral euthanasia, please know that you aren't failing this dog - and you aren't failing your ex. [/quote]
