If I take one out, I put it back in the LFL. If I forget to put the same one back, then I put a different one in from home that I've been meaning to donate. It is called Little Free LIBRARY. So, I do think of it as a library. I recently saw the local LFL empty. What is wrong with people? They shouldn't raid them.
There are also nuts who are targeting LFLs and LFPs (Little Free Pantries) because they think anything that doesn't promote their view must be purged. It's really exhausting when all you want to do is share some stuff with your neighbors and these people ruin it for everyone. Without strong defense of property rights, It only takes one enemy to destroy the work of dozens of contributors.
