We were on the fence about doing ODP again this year (pros: good coaching, great exposure to kids at other clubs, fun team travel to the NC and VA Friendlies; cons: middling talent level at the state pool level, hassle of driving to Fredericksburg), but we’re doing it again to have the option of going to Portugal. The trip to Spain made all of the driving to Fredericksburg worthwhile and I’m sure the same will be true for the boys and girls who go to Portugal this year.[/quote]
