Please tell me this is just a middle school thing and they don’t have it in high school.
It’s health Ed in hs.
Not just health in health. Out kids' HS takes one study hall per week away for this garbage.
We don't have a study hall and advisory only meets a few times a semester. It is very cool specific.
As a former ES teacher and someone who is pissed about duty/advisory... We have advisory every single day and we have lessons. I never had duty as an ES teacher but I'm expected to...meanwhile "Team Leads" have 4 classes per day, no duty,no advisory... Per MCEA contract, we should only have 5 classes. We have six because of advisory.
Elementary is different. We are talking high school and it's very school specific. Our school only has advisory a few times a semester. Other schools have it daily. When we had advisory in MS, the lessons were a joke and teacher did very little. We never had it in ES.
