As a former ES teacher and someone who is pissed about duty/advisory... We have advisory every single day and we have lessons. I never had duty as an ES teacher but I'm expected to...meanwhile "Team Leads" have 4 classes per day, no duty,no advisory... Per MCEA contract, we should only have 5 classes. We have six because of advisory.  [/quote]

Elementary is different.  We are talking high school and it's very school specific.  Our school only has advisory a few times a semester.  Other schools have it daily.  When we had advisory in MS, the lessons were a joke and teacher did very little.  We never had it in ES.[/quote]
