Don't play dense. At this point we need to basically double the police and crack down hard on any and all crime and vagrancy. So tired of the constant shootings.[/quote]

Enough with the uninformed platitudes. Every month DC MPD gets smaller. They cannot recruit even on pace to match retirements and resignations. The issue is not funds at the moment but the situation was deliberately created. Even with hiring bonuses, etc, MPD cannot effectively compete with other LE options in DMV, of which there are many. [/quote]
