Among my friends where I have seen divorce happen when the wife makes more, it's not because the wife makes more. it's because the wife makes more AND the husband is a man child who saddles her with most of the child care and household management. Working long hours and making more plus husband being a deadbeat at home is a good recipe for resentment and eventual divorce.[/quote]
